Farewell for now
Hello family, friends and loyal guests,
It’s been three years since I opened Sandwich Me In on May 3, 2012 and time has gone by like a blink of an eye. As a chef, I have accomplished my goal to satisfy people’s hunger with my tasty BBQ and delicious Vegan options that many came back for again and again. As an entrepreneur, I have accomplished my goal to run a business in the black for three years providing income for many employees and also giving back to local charities, schools and organizations in need. As an environmental activist, I have maintained a restaurant that has not placed anything in a garbage dump in three years and it is this accomplishment that I am most proud of.
These are all great achievements, but without the support of all of you, the restaurant would have not lasted six months. I want to thank you all for your loyalty and support. The restaurant and myself give special thanks because you are Sandwich Me In’s community. You make the restaurant and myself what we are today- a success.
Now that almost all of my dreams have come true, it is time to step away from the restaurant industry for a time and follow a dream that I hold very dear to my heart, to be a husband to the strongest women I know, who kept our family together for over three years, and a father to two of the most amazing kids on earth.
Sandwich Me In will be closing it’s doors as a restaurant for now, but stay tuned for a different spin on Sandwich Me In. My sustainable mission is going to continue. Check our website for the next part of this journey.
